Universal all encompassing HUMAN BIOLOGY versus narrrow viewed, profit oriented, big business called Medicine, supported by Worldwide, Organized Insiders, using the bureaucracies of government, the power of the media, and lay person ignorance, funded academia, the legislatures, etc. to control and direct government operated bureaucracies, to limit your access to, and to extract your money for, access and use of the advances that are being made by human biologist and other scientists worldwide. The idea seemingly is to direct your wealth as you move from cradle and to capture it before you reach the grave.
Medicine is big, it is organized, and it has a big foot hold in our society[read how they accomplished this in Pultzler Prize Winner, Paul Starr's: the Social Transformation of American Medicine], but it is a henious, terrible, worldwide, money making scheme, which systematically denies people access[unless of course, they pay]. It has already systematically excluded 44,000,000 Americans from coverage and another 88,000,000 are borderline resisted via the HMOs and Govt Programs.
More government money is spent on medical gatekeeping than nearly anything else: yet people still die. Medicine cannot tell you the cause of cancer but they will, for a price, offer you a cure! Medicine sort of leads you on, it can make you feel better and sometimes it can even fix you.. but in the end you are dead and they know it.. so extract your money is the goal. That is why, it is so terrible: their is no difference between a scientist and physician except a license. Toward the end of life, when you have little income and fewer assets, available access becomes less and less. Of course, if you are rich or have other resources then you get better access. In short, the average person advances from a child with a future to a number in oblivion.
40 years of NIH wisdom, billions invested in universities and MD degreed people and not one idea, not even a hit at what starts cancer, besides that from what I can see, there is not any interest among the pundits of organized medicine to find a cause, the thrust of the effort is to find a treatment that can make you pay.
We must stop thinking licensed MDs, we must stop thinking that a medical school education is the only education that will teach people how to deal with life and disease. In fact, we must stop think degrees or that degrees somehow impart knowledge or wisdom. We must stop thinking that MDs are inflable, or that the medical system gives a damn about you. We must get governments to quit creating and funding government regulatory agencies and spending our own money to deny us access to quality science.
We must get the governments from giving favored access to "Organized Medicine". Scientist are generally better qualified to deal with unknowns. Until science (not medicine) can find the answers to cancer (and since NIH generally refuses to fund human biological science unless MDs are involved) finding the cause and creating the solutions may take a while. In the mean time, you may be better off taking your cancer to a scientist, rather than to an MD. If you don't believe me, then get your MD to sign a contract, which says: I, your doctor, MD, know exactly what is wrong with you, and understand the cause, path, and outcome of the disease which I say you have, and I have a cure which will, I guarantee you, not cost you more than $_____, and if you take my cure, it will, by the date of _______ , cure you of the disease you actually have. Medicine a subset of Human Biology that earns its money from sick and frightened people
Human Biology is a science (knowledge base) and includes everything known, without regard to the amount of money it can make and without regard to who is eligible to access it. The field of human biology has been severly hampered by the medicine, because medicine desires to control the use of human biological knowledge to its licensed MDs and it desires to limit the use of scientific instrumentation and procedures to MDs only.
